Encontramos por lá o ator Thiago Lacerda (com cara de poucos amigos, diga-se de passagem). / Colombo Pastry. It was founded over than a century ago and it's a part of Rio's urban history. We ran into the actor Thiago Lacerda over there (who didn't look very friendly, btw). |

Foi assim, tímido, que nos recebeu. Nem por isso menos bonito e imponente. O nevoeiro até lhe deu uma certa mística. / That's how he welcomed us. Kind of shy. But not any less beautiful and imposing. The fog actually added a certain mystique.

| Esta era a vista da janela do nosso quarto. É uma favela e havia outra do outro lado do prédio (daí os tiros que ouvíamos quase todas as noites). Mas eu não me ia deitar sem ir espreitar as minhas luzinhas. / This was the view from our window. It's a favela and there was another one on the other side of the building (therefore, the gunshots we heard almost every night). I wouldn't go to bed without taking a look at my little lights. :) |
