I have always found indian women's clothing simply BEAUTIFUL! I even dressed up as an indian twice, for Mardi Gras (I prefer pretty costumes, instead of those funny or creepy ones :p ). Besides, I was already asked twice if I was from India (and I wasn't wearing the costume!). I honeslty don't know why, but I sure wouldn't mind having such a beautiful skin tone :)
These beautiful pieces that you see me with today came from Triveni Fashions, a 29 year old Saree manufacturer, based in Surat, India. Three years ago, they decided to start selling online and aparently they have been very successful. They want to spread the indian culture, and I'm glad to help.
Obviously, I'm not going to walk around Portugal dressed as an indian girl from head to toe, since it's not my culture. But I really felt like a princess taking these pictures. And these pieces are totally wearable on a daily basis, if worn separately (I already wore the necklace and it got me severeal comppliments!).
The pieces came carefully wrapped and their quality seems pretty good. They took a week and a half to arrive, I was surprised. :)
Hope you like it!
B.
Ps: There's going to be a part II of Triveni Fashion's partnership ;)

Wow wow wow the jewelry looks so stunning and the shipping was really fast. I have checked out the site. Looks great but I wish the prices were in $. You look so pretty. I guess the people who asked you watch the Bollywood movies. The actresses are very pale and you could totally be one of them. Yeah I agree. Should have stayed in bed but I consoled myself with a package of potato chips :D

Coffee, Prose, and Pretty Clothes
These pieces really look like they have been made for you! You look divine! So beautiful! The photographs are amazing and that green jumpsuit (is it a jumpsuit or a dress?) is a great choice with this jewelry and your skin tone.
ReplyDeleteI was asked whether I was from India a few times myself...but people who are actually from India told me I look very European to them. I was also asked whether I was Native American, South American, African or Oriental. So, it seems like I have some kind of universal look:) Maybe it's just that sometimes us Mediterraneans are perceived as being a bit exotic (at least by other Europeans) because of our olive skin tone.

Thank you so much dear Ivana. You are always so kind :)
DeleteYes, it's a jumpsuit, good call :p
And I had already thought about that before, actually. I agree that it be because our olive skin tone :)
