The only thing that made sense to me to bring as a souvenir from Menorca was a pair of menorquinas - which are a kind of sandals typical from the Island, worn by adults and children, men and women. I'm not sure if Menorca is really it's origin - judging by the name, I think it must be - and I think they're available in many other places now, but in Menorca everyone wears them.
The funniest thing is that, a few years ago, when I didn't even imagined going to Menorca, I saw a pair on a store here in Portugal and I fell in love. I didn't bought them then and now I'm glad I didn't. It's a lot more fun to have a pair that I actually bought in Menorca :)
And with all the rush from the arrival I didn't have a single picture in this post that properly shows you the menorquinas. - ok, it's not the rush fault. It was actually my tantrum's fault. I was so sleepy and cranky because I'd woke up at 6 a.m. and I'd spent the entire morning between airplanes and airports, that I thought that all pictures were turning out awful and I just wanted to get it over with so I could go home, shower and get into bed - which didn't happened, btw xD
